Book
Once you give the green light, I’ll take care of all the bookings: accommodations, transfers, tours, and activities. I’ll also keep track of deadlines, payments, and any extras. As your departure date approaches, I’ll send destination details and check in about any last-minute additions.

Travel
Before you go, we’ll have a final pre-trip call to cover any lingering questions. While you travel, I’ll be available—along with an in-destination contact, if applicable—in case anything comes up. Once you’re back, I’ll follow up to hear how everything went.

Q: What types of trips do you plan?
Most of my clients are busy families looking for a getaway that’s easy, fun, and well-organized—which is why I specialize in all-inclusive resort stays and cruises (you can learn more about my travel specialties right here). However, if you dream of a travel experience that’s heavier on adventure or cultural discovery, I can make that happen for you!
Q: Do you only plan family vacations?
Not at all. While many of my clients are parents, that doesn’t always mean they’re traveling with kids. I plan romantic escapes, friends’ getaways, adult-only group trips, and more.
Q: Why should I work with a travel advisor instead of booking online?
Because your time is valuable—and online research is a time-suck. I take the guesswork out of planning, recommend what’s actually worth it (and what’s not), and make sure no detail falls through the cracks. You won’t get that kind of peace of mind from a search engine.
Q: What does it cost to work with Madden Travel?
I may charge a planning fee before I begin building your trip proposal. This covers my time researching your options, organizing your itinerary, and providing support before and during your trip. The fee varies based on the complexity of your vacation, and I’ll always share it upfront after our complimentary consultation call.
Q: How far in advance should I reach out?
The sooner, the better—especially for peak travel seasons, school breaks, or group trips. Ideally, reach out at least 6–9 months in advance. If your timeline is tighter, I’ll still do everything I can to make it work.
Q: Do you book flights?
I can assist with flights as part of your overall itinerary. While I don’t always book air directly, I’ll provide guidance, timing recommendations, and tips to help everything align smoothly with your trip.
Q: What if something goes wrong during my trip?
That’s exactly why you work with me. If anything unexpected comes up, I’ll be just a call or message away—and in many cases, I’ll have an in-destination contact ready to assist. You're never on your own.
